WHAT IS COLON HYDROTHERAPY?

Colon Hydrotherapy can be the prime solution to all the nasty things we have been looking at so far. Also called as colonic, a colonic irrigation, high colonic and colon lavage, it is the safest, gentlest and most effective way yet discovered of clearing out waste materials, fecal matter, gas, mucus and toxins which have become trapped in the colon, removing the deposits away using repeated gentle flashing of warm, purified water under slight pressure. A session of colon hydrotherapy treatment may remove between four to ninety pounds of old impacted matter.

WHAT SHOULD YOU DO BEFORE THE TREATMENT?

There is no need to prepare yourself in any way for a colon hydrotherapy session. This is not an operation, so you don’t need to starve yourself, or empty your bowels (the colon hydrotherapy will do that!). During colonic session therapist will be massaging your abdomen, so you might want to avoid eating or drinking a lot during the two hours before your treatment. Also, if you have a bowel movement before going to the clinic, it will help therapist to achieve more in session.

WHAT HAPPENS AT A COLON HYDROTHERAPY SESSION?

When you arrive, the therapist will greet you and ask you to fill in a medical history form. When you are ready, the colonic therapist will discuss your health issues with you and answer every question you have. The therapist will figure out if you need a colonic, how many colonics will you need and how often you may do them.
During the procedure you will be wearing a hospital-type disposable gown, which by necessity will stay opened at the back. The only part of you which will be exposed is your bottom, but that is only very brief.
During procedure you will stay on your back or your side, covered with towel. Your colon hydrotherapy treatment usually takes about 45 - 60 min.
At the end of the treatment therapist will ask you to go and visit a bathroom for as long as it takes for you to fill comfortable. Then you get dressed, leave the changing room and come out to see a therapist.

WHAT MIGHT I EXPERIENCE AFTER THE SESSION?

You may resume your usual activities right away after colonic is done! Some people, who come for a treatment straight from work, can easy go back to work afterwards without any difficulty! After treatment you won’t have a feeling of “bad stomach “or taking laxatives, so you won’t need to have a toilet handy.
